The Parent and Family Network is an online group of parents and carers who are invited to provide feedback on Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health services.

  • invitations to give your ideas and feedback on our services
  • invitations to relevant events or activities
  • information on how we are using parent and carer feedback to improve our services
  • information about Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health and the services we provide.
What is Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health?

Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health (CAHS – CH) provide a range of services to children, adolescents and families, focusing on growth, development and wellbeing. Our services include:

  • Child Health Services – including child health checks, new parent groups and drop-in sessions.
  • School Health Services – including school entry (pre-primary) health assessments (i.e. hearing and sight), health promotion and access to information, advice, referrals and support for adolescent students.
  • Child Development Services – additional support for your child’s development needs i.e. audiology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, paediatrics, social work and clinical psychology.
  • Refugee Health Services – support for newly arrived refugees and humanitarian entrants to connect with our services.
  • Aboriginal Health Services – culturally appropriate and secure services for Aboriginal families.
  • Immunisation services – immunisation services for the birth to 5 years age group, and for the School Based Immunisation Program.
Who can join the Network?

Membership is open to all parents and carers of children aged up to 18 years who live in the Perth metropolitan area. Members cannot be a current employee of Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health.

How do I join the Network?

The Network is free to join. Simply read the Parent and Family Network Guidelines (PDF 306KB) and complete the registration form. After your registration has been received, you will receive an email from CACHConsumerNetwork@health.wa.gov.au to confirm your membership.

Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. Your contact details will remain confidential and will only be used by staff managing the Parent and Family Network. You may request to be removed from the Network at any time by emailing CACHConsumerNetwork@health.wa.gov.au ­­­
