The Department of Health has launched a survey asking cancer patients about how COVID-19 may have impacted their cancer care experience.

From diagnosis to treatment, survivorship and end-of-life care, the Department is hoping to gain an understanding of cancer patient journeys across WA during the pandemic.

Questions have been developed by the Continuous Improvement in Care – Cancer (CIC) project (external site), an ongoing research program that drives improvements in care and patient experiences.

Results will help inform the implementation of the WA Cancer Plan 2020–2025 and identify areas across the cancer care pathway that may need to be addressed during or following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Survey closes: 8 June
