How do I know if I am pregnant?

If you and your partner are wondering if you are pregnant, there are various ways you can confirm your pregnancy including blood tests, a home pregnancy test, a urine test or internal examination by your doctor.

Early signs and symptoms of pregnancy

You may experience early signs and symptoms of pregnancy including:

  • missing your monthly period
  • breast tenderness
  • morning sickness
  • altered sense of taste and smell
  • tiredness.

Your local pharmacist will sell over the counter pregnancy test kits. If you receive a positive or unclear result visit your GP.
