Tools to monitor how youth friendly your health service is

A checklist has been developed as a resource to assist health services in Western Australia to plan, improve, and review health services for young people. This checklist aligns with the WA Youth Health Policy 2018-2023 (the Policy) and provides the opportunity to assess and monitor progress in achieving optimal health and wellbeing for young people.

An audit tool has been developed as a resource to assist health services in Western Australia to evaluate how accessible a service is for for young people.

Guidelines and Toolkits

These guidelines support WA Health Services Providers to engage with and involve young people in decision making processes about services and activities.

Training and Education Resources

This video presents the views of young Western Australians who have experienced different kinds of adversity in their lives. The Child and Youth Health Network would like to acknowledge the Commissioner for Children and Young People as the producer of this video.
