Community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA)

These reports show the annual rate since 2008 of community-associated methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA) infections per 100,000 of the population, by 3 geographically distinct areas in Western Australia (WA). For the purpose of this information, the WA areas are divided as:

  • Remote: Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest and Goldfields.
  • Rural: Wheatbelt, Southwest and Great Southern.
  • Metro: Perth metropolitan area.
