WA Health is reporting a total of 75 new cases to 8pm last night. Of these, 62 are local cases and 13 interstate travel related.
One local case is unlinked at this stage, contact tracers are investigating further.
Today’s new cases include 10 self-reported positive RATs.
In regional WA, the southwest has recorded one new case, who was infectious in the community.
Today’s figures bring the State’s total number of active COVID-19 cases to 509. There is currently no-one in hospital.
WA has recorded 2,325 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began, with 1806 recovering from the virus.
Further to the outbreak at Juniper Residential Aged Care in Bentley last week, two more aged care facilities in Mandurah have recorded cases. Staff and residents are being tested and visitors to the facilities restricted.
Testing advice and exposure sites
Anyone in the Perth, Peel, Wheatbelt and the South West regions – experiencing any symptoms should get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result. This applies to anyone symptomatic – even if you have not visited a listed exposure site.

WA Health’s contact tracing team continues to identify high risk exposure sites linked to new cases. Please continue to regularly check the HealthyWA website for updated or new exposure sites.
People who receive a text message from WA Health advising they have attended an exposure site must follow the instructions, even if the site is not listed on HealthyWA.
Testing figures
Testing figures are low with just 4,351 people received PCR tests at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
SafeWA
Yesterday, 1,669,612 scans were recorded on the SafeWA.
COVID-19 vaccinations
In the last three days, 57,143 vaccinations were administered in Western Australia.
A third dose “vaccination blitz” is underway. During this time an extra 40,000 appointments are available at State-run clinics.
This will boost weekly capacity of State-run clinics to around 100,000 doses.
Demand for vaccinations and third doses is increasing. To spread the demand across clinic operating hours and to avoid excessive wait times, people are encouraged to make a booking via Vaccinate WA.
Based on the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) recommendations, Western Australians 16 years and older are eligible for their COVID-19 booster vaccination, three months following their second dose.
Vaccination is the best defence against serious illness or death relating to COVID-19 and we encourage everyone that is eligible for their third dose not to delay and to book an appointment on VaccinateWA.
Vaccinations are also available at GPs, pharmacies and community clinics.

Vessels
All crew of the Ballard who tested positive on RAT have recovered. The vessel has been cleaned and berthed in Bunbury yesterday (Sunday 13/2).
One crew member has been permitted to sign-off as planned, and is residing in hotel quarantine until his flight out of Australia.

To date, 671 cases of variant strains have been detected in Western Australia – including 464 Omicron strain, 53 Alpha strain, 15 Beta strain, one Gamma strain and 138 Delta strain.
