WA Health is reporting a total of 6,815 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 36,491 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 455 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 20 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes three deaths, dating back to 6 July, which were reported to WA Health yesterday - two women in their 90s and a man in his 80s.

Of the 6,815 cases, 1,902 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 4,913 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 8,904 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,010,424 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
