New and expanded COVID vaccine clinics in Western Australia

23 July 2021

WA’s vaccination program is growing with new and expanded clinics in the Perth CBD, Midland and regional WA and with a walk-in program trialling at this year’s Royal Show. More eligible Western Australians will be able to roll up their sleeves and receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

New clinics in Perth metropolitan area

  • New clinic in Perth CBD opens 16 August
The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will be home to the new Perth CBD vaccination clinic and will operate on weekdays.
  • New clinic in Midland opens 6 September
A new clinic will be set up at Centrepoint Midland shopping centre from Monday 6 September, replacing the Redcliffe clinic. The Midland clinic will be open 7 days a week.
  • Claremont Showgrounds clinic
From Sunday 25 July, the Claremont Showgrounds vaccination clinic will increase its capacity expanding from 40 booths to 60.
The Claremont clinic will also be operational during the Perth Royal Show between Saturday 25 September and Saturday 2 October. As part of a new trial, a walk-in program at the vaccination clinic means eligible people and visitors to the Royal Show who are not yet vaccinated can access the clinic.
Eligible people who want their first dose can turn up without an appointment, as thousands of spots will be available every day. Those who require a second dose should already have a booking and are urged to keep this.
