Community pharmacies can provide routine immunisations

Community pharmacists are able to provide National Immunisation Program (NIP) and state-funded vaccines to eligible individuals aged 5 years and above.

This will help protect our community from vaccine-preventable diseases by making vaccinations more affordable and easier to access.

Immunisation protects people against specific diseases by using the body’s natural defence mechanism – the immune response.
